About Us
ROBA is dedicated to the promotion of reindeer farming as an agricultural pursuit and serves its members through its website, conferences, and publications to provide leadership in maintaining quality standards.
Membership
Any person, family, corporation who owns or breeds reindeer may become an active member of ROBA. Members of ROBA are entitled to attend, speak, and vote, at the membership meeting of the association.
On Reindeer
Reindeer are in the cervidae (deer) family, with the genus of rangifer (reindeer and caribou) and the species of tarandus (reindeer).
If you are interested in reindeer, ROBA is the group of dedicated people in the reindeer breeding program for you. No matter what your reason for having them may be, reindeer raising can be fun and profitable too. Just ask anyone who owns them!
